Born in 1954.

1977 – Graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.

1977 - 1981 – Embassy of the USSR in Mongolia;

1984 – 1989, 1992 – 1997 – Embassy of the USSR, then Russian Federation in Indonesia. 

1997 – 2001 – Second Asian Department, MFA of the Russian Federation

2001 – 2005 – Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Thailand.

2005 – 2008 – Principal Counsellor, Department of ASEAN and Asian issues, MFA of the Russian Federation.

2008 – 2010 – Principal Councellor, Department of Asian issues, MFA of the Russian Federation.

2010 – 2011 – Principal Councellor, Department of Asia Pacific cooperation of the MFA of the Russian Federation.

On 30 November 2011 assumed his duty as the Consul-General of the Russian Federation in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macau Special Administrative Region, PRC. Speaks English and Mongolian. Married.
