TOURIST VISA

1. Current passport which should be valid for a minimum of six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 1 blank page. 
2. Visa application form filled in electronically or by hand. 
3. One recent passport size photo glued to the indicated space on the application form. 
4. Original Tourist Voucher with a special reference number, issued by a Russian travel agency stamped and signed by an authorized person. 
5. Tourists on board large cruise Ships should have the right to stay in the Russian Federation without a visa during 72 hours. They have the right to leave the ship and come back on board the ship only as part of an organized tourist group as per the list. In case a tourist wants to leave the ship alone, he needs a visa. 
6. One copy of the main page of the passport.

BUSINESS VISA

1. Current passport which should be valid for a minimum of six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 1 blank page. 
2. Visa application form filled in electronically or by hand. 
3. One recent passport size photo glued to the indicated space on the application form. 
4. Original Invitation issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives or by an appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service branch. The invitation must contain: official seal and legal address of the host institution, document registration number and date of registration, signature and name of the official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia, travel itinerary, dates of stay, names of persons invited. 
5. Introductory letter from your company (or from yourself if you are self-employed) giving full details of the traveler, destinations, terms and purpose of the visit. Self-employed and unemployed applicants must show copies of their bank statements for the last three months. 
6. One copy of the main page of the passport.

WORK / STUDY VISA

1. Current passport which should be valid for a minimum of six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 1 blank page. 
2. Visa application form filled in electronically or by hand. 
3. One recent passport size photo glued to the indicated space on the application form. 
4. When applying for working or student visa you must additionally submit HIV Test (AIDS) Certificate, your passport should be valid for another 1, 5 year. 
5. A letter of invitation issued by a Russian Federal Migration Service agency or a telex from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For a working visa You are also required to present a copy of Your Russian work permit. 
6. Introductory letter from your company (or from yourself if you are self-employed) giving full details of the traveler, destinations, terms and purpose of the visit. Self-employed and unemployed applicants must show copies of their bank statements for the last three months. 
7. One copy of the main page of the passport.

PRIVATE VISA (VISITS TO RELATIVES OR FRIENDS)

If you are going to visit Russia to stay with your relatives or friends you should first obtain an official invitation and only then apply for a Private visa. We only accept original invitation documents issued by an appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service branch. To obtain such an invitation your relatives or friends are to present to the said branch a photocopy of your passport and personal data. 

1. Current passport which should be valid for a minimum of six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 1 blank page. 
2. Visa application form filled in electronically or by hand.
3. One recent passport size photo glued to the indicated space on the application form. 
4. Original invitation issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives or by an appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service branch.  
5. In case of a visit to the Russian Federation for urgent medical reasons, for urgent treatment, or to visit a seriously ill or a deceased relative, an applicant should present a certificate issued by a medical institution or a death certificate and a document proving the kindred between the applicant and the ill or deceased relative. Passport's validity of the applicant should exceed the visa expiry date. 
6. One copy of the main page of the passport.

TRANSIT VISA

1. Current passport which should be valid for a minimum of six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 1 blank page. 
2. Visa application form filled in electronically or by hand.
3. One recent passport size photo glued to the indicated space on the application form. 
4. The original or a photocopy of your confirmed air ticket to and from Russia. 
5. A valid visa (if required by that country) to the country you want to enter after leaving Russia.
6. One copy of the main page of the passport.
