Trade Section Information
The trade section of the Consulate carries out a wide range of activities dealing with the promotion of the trade and economic relations between Russia and Hong Kong and the PRC.
- market analysis and economic research
- liaison with the relevant Hong Kong Government bodies on various matters of bilateral economic and trade cooperation
- assistance in business delegations exchange
- provision of a range of consulting services (which are subject to
charges depending on complexity) to the Hong Kong, Mainland Chinese,
foreign and Russian companies and businesses, including in particular:
- information on trade, investment, banking regimes and regulations in Russia and Hong Kong
- reference materials on the general economic (foreign trade, investment climate, financial markets, foreign exchange, economic trends, industries) situation in Russia/Hong Kong
- contact information about potential Russian/Hong Kong business partners, producers, exporters, importers, banks, service companies, etc.
- placement of the import/export/business inquiries and offers in the Russian or Hong Kong computer network
- assistance in the settlement of the trade disputes
- rendering aid in the organization of commercial exhibitions, fairs, presentations as well as placement of advertisement in Russian/Hong Kong mass media
- support in the company incorporation in Russia and Hong Kong
- translation of the economic and business texts and documents from Chinese, English, French into Russian and vice versa.
